Victoria Diego
Victoria Diego joined PDS in January 2008 as an art teacher, bringing creativity and compassion to the team. Originally from Eugene, Oregon, Victoria’s childhood took her from Washington to California, where she now resides in Petaluma. Before her career in the arts, she worked as a buyer in a pet shop, but after a friend introduced her to PDS, she found her true passion. Victoria feels that her work at PDS is a calling from God, and her dedication to helping others has been at the heart of her role from day one.
In her position as an art teacher, Victoria finds joy in watching her friends excel, whether through learning or expressing themselves in unexpected ways. Seeing smiles and pure joy from her students is one of the best parts of her job. She cares so deeply about meeting all of her clients where they are, and allowing them the freedom to create, free from pressure or expectation. With her at the helm, the art room has become one of the most popular hang spots at PDS, for clients and staff alike.
Outside of PDS, Victoria enjoys gardening, crafting at home, and taking care of her dog, Camille (who joins her every day at PDS). Her drive for creativity extends beyond the classroom into her personal life, making her an inspiring presence wherever she goes.
