Tammy Robinson

Tammy Robinson has been an Employment & Community Support Facilitator at PDS since May 2016. She grew up in the Bay Area and has over 30 years of experience in the field, starting in 1990 at a day program in Hayward. Tammy’s extensive background includes working in group homes and 1:1 settings, as well as serving as a supervisor at another facility in Marin called Cedars. After meeting Daniel, Tammy was inspired to transition from a residential supervisor role to a more public-facing position, eager to work in a more community-oriented environment.

At PDS, Tammy enjoys spending time with clients, talking, and building connections. She finds it rewarding to help clients engage with the world around them and make a difference in their lives. She is fiercely protective of her clients, while holding them to the same high standard that she holds herself to. When she enters a room, you can see everyone gravitate to her. Outside of work, Tammy stays active by working out, watching TV, and exploring her culinary interests.

For Tammy, the most important thing to understand about adults with disabilities is that they should be treated equally, just like everyone else. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all.
