Lisa Toney
Lisa Toney was awarded “Woman of the Year” by the Down Syndrome League of the Greater Bay Area in April of 2000. Lisa made a touching speech at a luncheon held at the beautiful Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. She proudly spoke about her two jobs at The Body Shop and Banana Republic and her involvement in advocating for others with disabilities. She was introduced by Chris Burke who starred as “Corky” in Life Goes On. She also met Kellie Martin, the actress from ER and Life Goes On.
